Updated October 2, 2026. Anybody In lets you make plans, establish consensual subscriptions, receive reminders and choose to join activities.
Account and profile
We store your email, display name, invite code and chosen area. Email is used for sign-in codes and reminders you enable; it isn't shown to other users. Sign-in uses this site's secure cookies. Codes aren't stored in your browser; the server stores only a hash, and expired codes can't be used.
Approximate location
We save approximate coordinates, rounded to two decimal places, only when you authorize and save them. They filter nearby plans and aren't exposed to other users through activity APIs. We don't continuously track you. Clear your location in your profile at any time.
Plans and connections
Private plans are shown to selected people with a valid connection, participants and the host. Nearby plans are shown to signed-in users within range. Meeting details, participants and messages are visible only to the host and participants. Plan records and messages are stored on the server.
For link invitations, anyone with the link, including signed-out visitors, can see the title, host’s display name, destination, note, start time and available spots. Links may be forwarded. Meeting details, participants and messages remain limited to the host and people who joined. Existing private invitations do not become link invitations.
Attendance is voluntary and shown only to the person who submitted it. Operations uses aggregate insights to assess outcomes. Your attendance records are removed when you delete your account. This browser tab may temporarily save an unpublished draft, which is cleared when you sign out.
Notifications and devices
If you enable push, we store the browser's push endpoint and encryption public keys. Browser notification services deliver brief updates without private meeting details or message contents. Email reminders require a separate opt-in and can be turned off. Resend delivers sign-in codes and emails; hosted infrastructure runs the site and database.
Safety and operations
To prevent abuse, sign-in records sessions, browser information and request frequency. Administrators can handle reports and feedback and view account counts, plan counts and delivery status. We don't store recipient addresses or full email contents from delivery receipts. The server checks permissions for reads and writes. We don't sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
Retention and cleanup
When the site receives traffic, expired credentials and devices are cleaned at most hourly, and delivery records older than 30 days are cleaned in batches. Plans, connections, messages and feedback remain until account deletion or relevant handling. Email receipts monitor delivery, not opens or clicks.
Delete account
Deleting your account clears your email, credentials, connections, push devices, location and private meeting details, and cancels your upcoming hosted plans. Historical plans may retain anonymous records no longer linked to your email. Your message contents are cleared. Infrastructure backups and necessary logs may remain for the provider's retention period.
